LaTique

About Artist

LaTique (Mr Rare Dub) isn’t just making beats he’s making moves. Hailing from Johannesburg by way of Estcourt, KZN, this house music visionary has carved out his own sonic lane, blending soulful rhythms with deep, unmistakable groove. In 2024, he dropped the now-iconic Nyuku EP and the numbers don’t lie: over 3 million streams and counting. But the real showstopper? Haibaba. The infectious, collaborative anthem didn’t just dominate airwaves across Africa, it won Best Dance Song at the Metro FM Awards and landed him a coveted feature on The Circle. Fast-forward to 2025, and LaTique is officially part of the Universal Music South Africa roster. He’s teamed up with the likes of Lamiez Holworthy and Thakzin, proving he's as versatile as he is visionary. From global label drops with Atjazz Record Company and Stay True Sounds, to commanding festival stages across the continent.
