The Native Philharmonic Experience returns for its second edition on 28 March 2026 at Maitisong Theatre, and this time it arrives louder in purpose. “We brought it back because there was demand for us to do the show again. It was sold out last year,” said lead vocalist Tomeletso Sereetsi in an interview. This isn’t nostalgia, it’s unfinished business.

An international award winning local Gospel artist and Promoter, Gaone Selebo, 44, has been nominated for Best Gospel Promoter at 2024 Ingoma Independent National Gospel Music Awards, which will take place on August 31st in Polokwane, South African. Ingoma awards are awards formed to empower and elevate emerging gospel musicians, by providing platforms for exposure, mentorship, and celebration, helping artists build sustainable careers and share their talents with the world. Selebo was recognised as a promising promoter by the awards for her record label, Lady G Promotions, which focuses on discovering, developing, and exposing talents. Lady G Promotions currently has 11 musicians signed to the label to help them uncover their potential and get them out there.

The artist will perform at Game City Parkade on April 5. The Nigerian artist joins a stellar lineup that includes Dr Tumi from South Africa and Agape Songs from Tanzania, among others. Ebuka Songs is known for his soul-lifting gospel tracks. His songs often focus on themes of faith, resilience, and serving God. Explaining the concept behind the show, organiser Eliphus Lesedi revealed that Under One Roof is not just a name but a concept derived from the biblical principle of Oneness. "That is to say, one God, one people. This event seeks to bring Africa and the world under one sitting in worship and praise. The composition of artists of the day was done in a way that it covered different genres of the Gospel, in different languages, and from different countries," he explained.

Her namesake, 18-year old Margaret Nasha, also from Otse, proved to have what it takes to win the Miss Teen Botswana crown. The young Nasha's victory was influenced by her brilliance, passion and confidence. She indeed had a good fight towards winning the crown among other equally beautiful and talented competitors. Her project, 'Kagiso Lapeng' aiming to combat gender-based violence (GBV) has come at the right time where GBV has become a great concern in the country with high cases of intimate partners brutally killing each other.

Eighteen-year-old Margaret Nasha from Otse has been crowned Miss Teen Botswana 2025 in a dazzling competition held on Saturday in Gaborone. The event, which brought together some of the most talented and confident young women in the country, saw Anke Nkwe claim the first princess title, while Vanessa Stegling was named second princess. Nasha’s victory was attributed to her passion, confidence, and eloquence, particularly showcased during the presentation of her project, Kagiso Lapeng. The initiative is dedicated to combating gender-based violence (GBV) by raising awareness and providing support to affected individuals. Her strong advocacy for the cause, coupled with her poise and intelligence, made her stand out among the contestants.
