Stuart Colin Matthewman
In 1982, Matthewman joined the Latin funk band Pride in London and formed Sade with bassist Paul S. Denman and keyboardist Andrew Hale. Matthewman has contributed as a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist on Sade's albums, including "Diamond Life," "Promise," "Stronger Than Pride," and "Love Deluxe." He co-founded Sweetback with Sade members, released two albums, and collaborated with artist Maxwell on "Embrya." Matthewman has also composed soundtracks for films.
