American rapper Rick Ross, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, has revealed his favorite African artists. In an Instagram story video, he mentioned that the artists he would name are icons in the music industry. He noted that he was in Cape Town, South Africa, at the time. In the video, he selected one singer from Nigeria, while the rest were from various African countries. He said that Davido is his favorite artist in Nigeria. He wants to meet the music star, who took a cooking class a few weeks back. Still celebrating the Awuke singer, who recently thanked producer and writer Rick Ross, he mentioned that Davido will be a future legend. He also emphasized the need to keep developing the music industry, referring to Davido as a king. Rick Ross urged Davido to keep working on connecting the African continent. In his post, he referred to DJ Mekzy, Young Wise, Young Marley, Alpha P, and others as superstars and icons, just like Davido.
