The ongoing conflict between gospel artist Mercy Chinwo and her former record label executive, EezeeTee, has recently escalated, drawing criticism from entertainer MC Orobo towards social media commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) regarding his recent remarks about Chinwo and EezeeTee. In a widely circulated video, MC Orobo characterized VDM’s assertions as “childish and baseless,” alleging that he misinterpreted the complexities surrounding record label agreements and music rights. “In every record label deal, the artist is entitled to buy out his or her catalog over a period of time,” Orobo clarified, implying that VDM lacks the necessary understanding to comment on the issue competently. The comedian also raised a provocative question: “Why is no one coming forward to speak positively about EezeeTee?”

During his interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, he reflected on thelife-changing incident, admitting that the experience was frustrating, especially having to use a wheelchair while shooting the music video for Holy Father. Speaking on the accident, he said, "I think about it as a downtime in my life and when it happened I was frustrated because being in a wheelchair while shooting the video for Holy Father was not what I wanted to do because I don't like it when people pity me. After a while, I got over it, and now I live with remembering the accident."

Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid, has been named Africa’s top earner on Spotify. Chart Masters, a music statistics platform, recently shared the monthly earnings of artists worldwide, and Wizkid topped the list for Africa with $1 million. Thembinkosi Mthembu had the privilege of working with his wife as he prepared to reprise his role as Bonga Tembe in the third and final season of Adulting. Speaking to TshisaLive, the 2024 Safta Best Actor winner paid tribute to his wife for helping him with his lines. He also explained how his healthy real-life marriage helped him prepare for his role as a toxic husband. “My wife was also a huge help while preparing for this role. She would assist me with my lines and I’d ask her how she would feel if I said something a particular way. It was fun to see if I could provoke a reaction from her in the same way Bonga might from Nkanyezi,” he explained.
The production company of the movie “6 Ayam” ( 6 Days) has released the official posters for the film on social media. The movie is written by Wael Hamdy, directed by Karim Shaaban, and stars Ahmed Malek and Aya Samaha. In the official posters, Ahmed Malek and Aya Samaha appear in two different looks.
