    Chief Ebenezer Obey Pays KWAM 1 Condolence Visit Amid Mother Death

    Commander Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, one of the early influencers in Nigerian music, has reached out to Fuji star King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as KWAM 1 or K1, to share his condolences on the loss of his mother, Alhaja Halimah Abike Akeredolu Adesanya. Note that KWAM 1’s mother died at the age of 105 and was buried in accordance with Islamic practices. Following her death, the Fuji singer has received kind messages from thoughtful Nigerians, including a condolence call from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. A touching video that went viral showed KWAM 1 bowing respectfully while Obey prayed for him in Yoruba.
