Fighting back tears, Artiste Maame recounted how she had to rent an apartment near the hospital to ensure she could be there to care for him. She mentioned that the nurses had to prevent her from going to the physiotherapy centre because she would cry each time she saw her son trying to remain strong and recover. Expressing her gratitude to God, Artiste Maame noted that her son is now able to live independently, having travelled to Ghana on his own about six times since being discharged from the hospital.

Ghanaian artist manager, Flow Delly, has lamented the lack of support for music talents in Ghana. The former manager of award-winning rapper Medikal observed that several talented musicians in the industry struggle with their careers despite their potential. Flow Delly described it as heartbreaking to see many gifted artists fail to succeed due to inadequate support and resources. “We all know there are so many talented artists out there who need help. It’s heartbreaking to see artists with great potential struggle. “Working with Medikal gave me direct exposure to some of the industry’s major challenges,” he lamented. He further stressed the need for proper structures such as investment to support artists. “From financial investments to structural improvements and a well-organized logging and royalty system, we need frameworks that ensure artists are fairly compensated for their creative works,” he added.

In an interview on Echo Room, Spyro revealed that he was gearing up to release the remix for his hit single 'Billing' featuring Davido before he was stopped from putting out the song. According to the singer, Davido's manager Asa Asika stopped him from releasing the Davido remix because at the time the four-time Grammy nominee had too many collaborations and was also preparing to release a new album. "David was on the remix of 'Billing'. We wanted to drop it as the original but some people blocked it from dropping," Spyro said. The singer praised musician and blogger Tunde Ednut for assisting in facilitating the collaboration. As I was calling David, Tunde Ednut was also calling him to make the collaboration happen. After being told that the song can't drop, Spyro revealed that he visited Davido at home to clear the situation but this didn't work out as some people didn't want the song to drop.

In his presentation, Suleman highlighted challenges affecting the local creative industry’s ability to benefit from platforms like YouTube and Facebook, including low Internet connectivity and widespread digital illiteracy.
Musician Grenade Official’s concert that was supposed to happen on Saturday at Cricket Oval has been postponed. According to a document from the organisers, Mosh Events, the decision to defer the show was made after extensive consultations with key stakeholders and the artiste’s management team. “The organisers of the highly anticipated concert, featuring the sensational artist Grenade Official wish to inform the public and all stakeholders of a change in the event date. Originally scheduled for February 15, 2025, the concert new dates will be communicated at later stages,” reads part of the statement. The state further reveals that the rescheduling ensures optimal alignment with Grenade Official’s availability, allows for enhanced event planning and guarantees a world-class experience for all attendees.
