“These two wonderful boys came from Angola and their biggest dream was to meet me… To do so, they crossed the city, slept on the street, at the door of my condominium with signs in their hands and when their story reached me, I remembered that it was these two who, when we needed prayer the most, went online with signs for me asking for Brazil and Angola to unite for Vera’s cure. So I didn’t think twice and went there to talk to them to thank them and I received so much love and affection from these two that I will never forget that moment. I made a sandwich for them, brought them water, chocolates and only received love in return… Their happiness was written all over their faces. Popular singer, Mr May D opens up on how he lost the opportunity of working with the American superstar Akon, after he told PSquare about it. He disclosed this while speaking the popular podcast, ‘Honest Bunch’ with Nedu Wazobia and others. According to him, PSquare didn’t want to sign him at first; they had told him that they would only help him to become recognizable as they did Jay Martins and others. He revealed that the American singer, Akon liked his song ‘Chop My Money’ and wanted to be in it. May D stated that he had to fly to America since Akon insisted that the song be shot there, or else he wouldn’t come. He said that while there, Akon called him into the office and asked whether he had a deal with the other guys (PSquare) and he told him no, upon which Akon mentioned to him that he has a lot of deals for him. Mr May D noted that Akon had promised to pay his ticket back to America for the commencement of the deals he had in store for him.

'Mulholland Drive' and 'Twin Peaks' director David Lynch dies at 78

An enigmatic artist who turned his hand to arthouse and blockbuster film, television, painting and music, Lynch was considered first and foremost one of US cinema's great auteurs. "It is with deep regret that we, his family, announce the passing of the man and the artist, David Lynch," read a statement on his official Facebook page. "There's a big hole in the world now that he's no longer with us. But, as he would say, 'Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.'" The cause and location of death were not specified. Lynch, who lived in Los Angeles, had suffered from emphysema after years of heavy smoking. Legendary Afro Pop/R&B singer Maskal has teamed up with contemporary singer-songwriter Eli Njuchi to dish out a sizzling love song titled “Chonchi”, which hit the airwaves on Valentine’s Day. Chief Ebenezer Obey Pays KWAM 1 Condolence Visit Amid Mother Death

Commander Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, one of the early influencers in Nigerian music, has reached out to Fuji star King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as KWAM 1 or K1, to share his condolences on the loss of his mother, Alhaja Halimah Abike Akeredolu Adesanya. Note that KWAM 1’s mother died at the age of 105 and was buried in accordance with Islamic practices. Following her death, the Fuji singer has received kind messages from thoughtful Nigerians, including a condolence call from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Angolan rapper Masta shared this Monday, February 17, an enigmatic message about his former group, Força Suprema, and highlighted that his absence took away the essence of the collective. Through a publication made on his profile on the X platform, former Twitter, OG Big Baby, declared that in his absence the group is anything but Supreme Force. “It is anything but Supreme Force if I am not present,” Masta declared. Masta is the stage name of Terêncio Neto, a Portuguese-Angolan rapper born in Luanda, Angola, on June 27, 1982. He emigrated to Portugal at the age of 10, settling in Linha de Sintra, where he met NGA, with whom he formed the group Força Suprema.
