Ghanaian Highlife musician Bisa Kdei has shown his versatility with the release of his latest project, Son. The latest single has the singer surprising fans by fusing rap into his music. Even though he has the reputation of a versatile artiste who masterfully bridges traditional Highlife and contemporary music styles, rap has never been his mainstay. Remaining rooted in the Highlife genre, Bisa Kdei's new release proves his ability to experiment with different styles as a versatile artiste. In Son, Bisa Kdei takes on a dual role, portraying himself and his father in a lyrical conversation.
The much-anticipated “Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood” documentary will be on premièring on TLC on Sunday. This latest addition to the channel’s popular ‘vs’ format follows in the footsteps of “Johnny vs Amber,” “Kim vs Kanye: The Divorce,” and “Vardy vs Rooney: The Wagatha Trial.” The two-part documentary, produced by Optomen, takes an in-depth look at the headline-grabbing dispute between global pop icon Taylor Swift and music mogul Scooter Braun over the rights to Swift’s first six albums. In June 2019, Braun’s company acquired Big Machine Label Group for millions of rands, securing ownership of Swift’s masters. The singer, who had been vocal about her desire to own her music, claimed she was not given the opportunity to purchase the rights herself.

Daily Trust reports that over the years, Portable has become known for dragging people he has collaborated with. Just recently, he dragged Asake following his Grammy award loss as he called out Olamide for helping Asake rather than him. Reacting, Skepta, who has been trending on X, said he might be the next person Portable will tackle online. “Why am I trending? Lol. I’ve just seen Portable is dragging somebody again, apparently I’m next. We dey wait lol,” wrote the rapper who previously collaborated with Portable.
