The events of "Zolem El Mastaba" take place within the framework of a social drama, highlighting customs, traditions, and social norms. The series examines unjust practices and rulings that are common in villages and rural areas, often resulting from a lack of legal and religious principles.

Kigali is set to celebrate World Poetry Day with the introduction of a special slam poetry workshop, providing poets and aspiring writers with a platform to enhance their skills and showcase their talents. Organised by Umut Arts, a local performing arts company, in collaboration with Institut Français du Rwanda, the celebration will culminate in ‘Soirée Poésie: Mu Rwanda rw’Ubusizi’ on March 20, featuring diverse performances by Rwandan poets and discussions on the country’s evolving poetry scene. The workshop, which will run from March 18, will be facilitated by renowned regional poet Mérou Mégaphone from whom participants will not only learn valuable techniques but also get the opportunity to perform what they have learned, according to organisers.
Kate Winslet is set to make her directorial debut with with “Goodbye June,” a contemporary family movie that is being produced for Netflix. Along with directing and producing the movie, Winslet will also star in it alongside Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Timothy Spall, and Helen Mirren. Kate Solomon is producing with Winslet, with Working Title as executive producers. Penned by Joe Anders, Winslet’s son, the movie is set in present-day England and is described as “touching, yet humorous” drama, which sees "a fractured group of siblings pull together under sudden and trying circumstances,” the synopsis reads. "Goodbye June" will go into production on location in the U.K. later this year. Although Winslet has never directed a film, she was highly involved in Ellen Kuras’s “Lee,” which she produced and starred in as American photographer Lee Miller.
Mohamed Henedy enters the 2025 Ramadan race with “Shehadet Moamalet Atfal” (Child Treatment Certificate), his latest comedic endeavor. The series is a social comedy-drama that centers around the story of lawyer Abdel Sattar Abu Kaff, who gets into a car accident and falls unconscious for 20 years. Upon waking up, he faces significant transformations in his life and society, which puts him in front of challenges, and humorous and exciting situations. The series is scheduled to air on the following channels: CBC, DMC, ON, Al Hayah, and the Watch It platform. Written by Mohamed Soliman Abdel Malek and directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz, “Shehadet Moamalet Atfal” stars Mohamed Henedy, alongside Sabry Fawaz, Sama Ibrahim, Mahmoud Hafez, Noha Abdeen, Walid Fawaz, and Khaled Anwar.

According to a statement by the Department of Home Affairs, Chidimma's mother was apprehended by police after she came back to South Africa with her Mozambican passport. The beauty pageant queen's mother was detained while she was taking care of Chidimma's child at a Cape Town residence. The Department of Home Affairs stated that Anabelo Rungo was banned from coming back to South Africa after illegally obtaining her South African identity documents. After being detained, Anabela is expected to remain in police custody while the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation probes into the matter.
