“These two wonderful boys came from Angola and their biggest dream was to meet me… To do so, they crossed the city, slept on the street, at the door of my condominium with signs in their hands and when their story reached me, I remembered that it was these two who, when we needed prayer the most, went online with signs for me asking for Brazil and Angola to unite for Vera’s cure. So I didn’t think twice and went there to talk to them to thank them and I received so much love and affection from these two that I will never forget that moment. I made a sandwich for them, brought them water, chocolates and only received love in return… Their happiness was written all over their faces. However, the one who was happiest with this meeting was me for meeting two such incredible people! Thank you, boys! I love you!”, he wrote in a video shared on his Instagram profile.
“When we came in office, our prime promise was to change the way things are run. One of the goals was to have Fama incorporated so that, among other things, we can check the financial management,” she said. Dorothy Kingston said after seeking legal advice on how to go about the process, they are considering registering under the Companies Act which is a shorter process as they wait to finalise the process under the Trustees Act. She said even though the company will have board of directors, the power will still lie in the membership as they will operate under a memorandum of understanding signed by all members. “This is just an internal matter which will be resolved among the membership. There are just a few misunderstandings which need to be ironed out,” said Kingston.
