VIRGIN OF THE THRONE

Virgin of the Throne is a Pan-African drama built around tradition, destiny, power, and the secrets passed from one generation to another. The story revolves around an ancient kingdom where tradition dictates that only a maiden considered pure can occupy the throne. As the time for the coronation approaches, this sacred rule creates tension and exposes hidden conflicts among those connected to the royal family.

The film explores the clash between ancient customs and modern realities, while ambition, betrayal, murder, prophecy, and long-hidden secrets threaten to destabilize the kingdom. Its story reaches beyond a single generation, examining the idea of life, death, and rebirth and how the actions of the past can continue to affect the present.

The movie features a strong African cast, including Lateef Adedimeji, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, Majid Michel, Tony Umez, Segun Arinze, Adjetey Anang, Martha Ankomah, Roselyn Ngissah, Syndy Emade, and Faith Fidel.
