Organisers of the Nigerian Idol reality music show have been accused of refusing to pay out prize money by former winner Kunle Ogunrombi, also known as K-Peace. The singer made the stunning claim while appearing on the latest episode of Nedu Wazobia’s ‘Honest Bunch Podcast.’ During the interview, the season 5 winner of the reality music show in 2015 claimed that Nigeria Idol organisers deceived him over the prizes he won. Giving an account of his experience, K-Peace recounted that after he was announced as the winner, he was presented with a cheque of N7.5 million and a car gift. The singer, however, claimed that the organisers failed to present him with the prizes he won, leaving him to struggle to survive with no money in his account. Speaking in a mix of English and Pidgin English during the interview, K-Peace described the actions of the organisers of the then Etisalat-sponsored reality music show as “deceptive.”

"Shabab Imraa" is one of the 100 most important films in the history of Egyptian cinema. It featured a starry cast that included the likes of Shadya, Taheyya Kariokka, Shokry Sarhan, Abdel Wareth Asar, Serag Mounir, and Fardos Mohamed. Salah Abu Seif directed the pic from a script he co-wrote alongside Amin Yousseff Ghurab and Sayid Bidir. It was screened at the 1956 Cannes Film Festival. "Shabab Imraa" chronicles the life of Imam Biltagy Hassanein (Sarhan), a young man from the countryside to study in Cairo. He rents a house in the Al-Khalifa neighborhood from a woman called Shafaat (Kariokka), who seduces him and causes him to fall back on his studies.
Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Holy Ten has accused Uebert Angel, the country’s Ambassador-at-Large to Europe and the Americas, of inappropriate behavior and misconduct within his church. In an explosive interview on DJ Ollah 7’s podcast, Holy Ten detailed troubling allegations, claiming that Angel repeatedly asked him to find young women for his personal pleasure. Holy Ten further accused gospel musician Mudiwa Hood, a close associate of Angel, of bringing firearms and condoms into the church. The artist’s revelations paint a picture of significant disillusionment with Angel, who he once admired. “I was first inspired to pray by Uebert Angel. I used to watch his sermons. But for him to turn into someone who asks me to find ‘slay queens’ was the worst thing ever,” Holy Ten shared during the podcast. The rapper revealed his shock and disappointment, stating that what was once an inspiration had now turned into a source of distress.
