Ghanaian artiste Trigmatic has recounted how he escaped a deal from a record label in the United Kingdom at the nascent stage of his career. According to him, the label promised glamour but upon consultations, he realised the deal would have cost him ownership of the masters to his debut album ‘Permanent Stains.’ Speaking to Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A to Z, Trigmatic noted that some record label deals can be limiting to an artiste's craft and career, but the onus lies with the artiste to weigh options and decide what to do when such offers come. “I had an offer. They actually flew me to check their studios in the UK. I will never forget. And at the time, 'My Life' was big. Before they tried to sign me I was chasing them because they had a very big artiste globally and they were always coming to Ghana,” he said.

Actress Gabisile Tshabalala will replace Bontle Rampa as Bubbles Mosipidi, a receptionist at Hanyani Holdings. Speaking about joining the show, Tshablala said the transition was easy. I have joined a warm family that filled my heart in a way I did not think I needed. I feel like I am working in a team that loves each other. I have never joined a company that does actor workshops and team building for cast and crew. What Bab’ Duma Ndlovu (filmmaker and producer) is doing is commendable. “I am replacing an existing character known as Bubbles, and usually, that’s a very tricky transition when you find people who have been working together for a long time. In my case, I clicked right in and I felt at home,” she said.

Speaking during the launch of the service on Friday at Azam TV offices in Blantyre, General Manager Syed M Kadayhe said this will help customers easily access services from technicians who will be moving around. “We noted that our subscribers were finding it very difficult to access services from us whenever they had problems with their receivers, hence the reason why we have introduced these door-to-door free services. “Our customers will now be able to reach out to us through our social media platforms. What they need to do is just book an appointment by sharing their details so that our technicians can reach out to them,” he said.
