Episode 12 of Kamel El Adad 3 featured a tense confrontation between Ahmed Mokhtar (Sherif Salama) and his daughter Farida (Lina Sophia Ben Hamman) after she returned home late from attending Ali’s (Youssef Omar) birthday party. During their heated argument, a pack of pills fell from Farida’s bag, sparking Mokhtar’s fury. Laila (Dina El Sherbiny), stepped in to break up the fight. Outraged, Mokhtar decided to ground Farida, forbidding her from leaving her room. His other children were left in shock and fear as they heard their father’s angry outburst, which even escalated to him striking Farida. In a tearful confession, Farida revealed that the drugs weren’t hers—they belonged to her friend Ali, who had asked her to keep them in her bag.
After an extended break from the urban music scene, hip-hop artists Diktator and Isu have made a comeback with a new remix of IKK’s track “Ndabweranso,” which also features artists such as Hyphen, BeeJay, Daredevilz, Blak Jak, Barry One, Base Cube and Mafo. The Cairo International Film Festival presided over by the esteemed star Hussein Fahmy, announced that its upcoming 46th edition will take place from November 12-21, at the Cairo Opera House. Fred Nuamah, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Movie Awards, has explained why this year's ceremony suffered low publicity. He told Joy FM's entertainment journalist, Kwame Dadzie in an interview on Showbiz A-Z, that the organisers decided to invite only people in the industry because of security reasons. According to him, the Accra International Conference, which was chosen as venue for the event, had also been selected as office for the government's transition team, which required that they needed not to make too much noise about it. "It is a bit political. Unfortunately for us, when we started we didn't know the government would use the Accra International Conference Centre as their transition office. Secondly, we also didn't know the were going to use the place as their seat of government, so there was a bit of restriction on us," he said.

Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Hanno, emphasized the significance of the El-Leila El-Kebira operetta, stating that it remains an iconic work that embodies authentic Egyptian identity. Created by Salah Jahin, Sayed Makkawi, and Salah El-Sakka, the operetta continues to resonate in Egyptian cultural memory. “It was essential to introduce it to new generations in various settings, as a singular artistic piece that expresses Egypt’s rich heritage,” he added.

Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid, has been named Africa’s top earner on Spotify. Chart Masters, a music statistics platform, recently shared the monthly earnings of artists worldwide, and Wizkid topped the list for Africa with $1 million. Singer Ava Peace has opened up about her strong professional bond with the Team No Sleep (TNS) boss and manager Jeff Kiwa. In an interview with Galaxy TV, the singer denied having any extra relationship with her boss Jeff stating that the relationship is strictly professional and that it is built on respect and clear boundaries.
