Exit talks new album, England trip

Award-winning musician David Shikalepo, known as Exit, will be releasing a new album titled ‘Bread winner’ during Easter. Following his return to Namibia after performing in England at Reni’s Event Centre in Manchester, Exit says he is ready to start the year with a bang. “I am currently working on my new album, which will be released in Easter 2025. It’s shaping up to be something really special, and I’m excited for fans to hear what I’ve been working on,” he says. Introducing his body of work bit by bit, Exit released the first single ‘Chain of Command’ recently. Reminiscing on his trip to England, Exit describes his performance in Manchester as an incredible experience. “It was great to connect with the Namibian community in a whole new environment. Seeing over 400 people at Reni’s Event Centre in Manchester really made me feel appreciated and loved,” he says.
