Wendy Shay, born Wendy Asiamah Addo on February 20, 1996, in Accra, Ghana, is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter and actress known for Afropop and Afrobeats music. Raised in a musical environment after moving to Germany with her family following her father's death, she pursued both education and music from a young age. Shay started her music career in 2018 after being signed by RuffTown Records, releasing her debut single "Uber Driver." She has performed at prominent venues and events, received awards including Discovery of the Year at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, and serves as the brand ambassador for Ghana's Youth Employment Agency. Additionally, she has been recognized as one of the Top 30 Most Influential Women in Music by 3Music Awards in March 2021.

"Athena" Drops Teaser

The official teaser for Egyptian actress Riham Hagag's upcoming TV series "Athena" has been released. Written by Ayman Salama and directed by Yahya Ismail, "Athena" sheds light on the impact of social media and analyzes its negative effects. The series follows the protagonist's sister committing suicide and her intensive search for the truth behind the tragedy. The plot intertwines with contemporary issues related to the dark web. The series is produced by Vantage Media Productions and reunites Hagag with her "Gamila" co-stars Sawsan Badr and Nabil Eissa for the second time. "Athena" also witnesses Eissa and Hagag's third collaboration after working together in "Gamila" and "Lama Kona Soghayareen".
