Lota Chukwu, born Ugwu Lotachukwu Jacinta Obianuju Amelia on November 29, 1989, in Nsukka, Nigeria, is a renowned actress and yoga enthusiast. Raised in Benin City, she studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Benin and trained at the Royal Arts Academy. Starting as a model and 2011 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria contestant for Yobe State, she rose to fame playing Kiki in the TV series Jenifa's Diary. Lota has starred in films like The Royal Hibiscus Hotel and The Arbitration and appeared in music videos for Reminisce and Aramide. In 2017, she launched "Lota Takes," a cooking and lifestyle show featuring Nigerian celebrities. Her recent projects include the TV show Enakhe and the films Kali (2024) and No Wrong Choice (2023).
