Abeni Agbon

Abeni Agbon became particularly known for portraying witches, spiritual figures and intimidating traditional characters. This is why the name Abeni Agbon is now strongly associated with the classic Yoruba supernatural-film tradition. 

Her documented film credits include Ojope (2008), Idamu Akoto (2009) and Kakanfo (2020), where she played Iya Agba.  She has also appeared in more recent Yoruba productions, including Iku Remo (2026) alongside Adeniyi Adebayo, Yetunde Barnabas and Funmilayo Kausarat Alfa.
