Advocates have issued Luga Flow rapper Gravity Omutujju with an intention to sue over Walumbe Zaaya. The document dated 11th February states that in 2012, Gravity Omutujju, real name Gereson Wabuyu together with Pitaxon and producer Rinex under Big Talent reproduced, shot a remix version, and continued performing the song without the family’s authorization. The video uploaded on the singer’s YouTube channel features audio, visual fixation, beats, lyrics, and voices of the deceased with no authorization. “These acts constitute gross violations of copyright and neighboring rights including but not limited to: Violation of the Author’s Moral and Economic Rights, Unlawful reproduction, adaptation, and distribution of copyrighted work and unauthorized commercial exploitation of the Late Paul Kafeero’s intellectual property rights,” read part of the notice.

The Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Living Abroad is organizing a group exhibition entitled “Art and Migration in the Feminine Form” at the Dhifaf Gallery in Rabat from February 13 to March 12.
