Stich Fray

Stich Fray born Steven Chibwazi, is an acclaimed Malawian urban music artist, singer, songwriter, and highly sought-after music producer. Synonymous with Blantyre's vibrant neighborhood of Chilobwe, Stich Fray began his production journey at just 14 years old after receiving his first computer. He quickly rose to prominence as a key member of Malawi's legendary hip-hop collective, Trap Squad, alongside top artists like Revolver, JudaGaga, and Chavura.

Known for his incredible genre versatility, Stich Fray seamlessly blends Afro-pop, Reggae-dancehall, R&B, and traditional Malawian rhythms. He has established a powerful double-identity in the industry, earning multiple Urban Music People (UMP) nominations both for his vocal performance and his clean studio engineering. Operating out of his Creative Boutique Studios, he has produced some of the region's most memorable hits, including "Somebody or Nobody." After a brief hiatus from the limelight to focus on mentoring younger artists and engineering records, he made a triumphant comeback with his highly anticipated studio album, Mtendere (Peace), showcasing his refined songwriting and legendary production chops.
