Ayesem

Stephen Kwabena Siaw, known professionally as Ayesem, is a celebrated Ghanaian hip hop and hiplife recording artist, rapper, and songwriter. Hailing from Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana, he completed his secondary education at Ghana Secondary Technical School and later earned a Higher National Diploma from Takoradi Polytechnic.

Ayesem initially stepped into the music scene in 2006 as part of a group called Trinity, and subsequently formed the duo 2Unit alongside fellow musician Nero X. He eventually broke out as a formidable solo force, capturing widespread attention across Ghana with hard-hitting lyrical talent and infectious highlife-infused melodies. He shot to massive mainstream prominence following the release of his critically acclaimed hit single "Koti", which earned him major accolades including Most Popular Song of the Western Region and Highlife Song of the Year at the Western Music Awards. Signed to Shocks Entertainment, Ayesem has consistently maintained his footprint in West African urban music through notable collaborations with artists like Kofi Kinaata, Kurl Songx, and Fameye.
