Shelika Jephthah Majiebo also known as JEPHY JAY (born 1st of June, 1997) is a versatile singer, songwriter, performer and a budding music producer who was born and bred in Nigeria. He is predominantly a pop singer but also likes to experiment with other genres of music. He is unique for his energy, signature voice and story-telling ability. This made his break out song ‘ifeoma’ quickly become a love anthem amongst music lovers in Nigeria. Jephy Jay started his music journey in the heart of Festac town Lagos, Nigeria. A town that was born out of cultural heritage, this has influenced his music as he seeks to draw inspiration for his songs from the african culture.   His songs ‘Ifeoma’ and ‘No Think Am’ have grown popular among pretty ladies on social media because of his amazing voice and endearing lyrics that promises good tender loving that most ladies imagine and yearn for. The pop singer has recorded several songs as an indie artiste and has gathered over 500,000 digital plays across multiple platforms. About 1000 videos of girls from all over the world dancing to his popular record ‘ifeoma’ has popped up so far. His record ‘ifeoma’ was so big digitally that Ace music producer Donjazzy decided to add a hook to the song after an A&R (David Julius Arogula Arinzaay) played it for donjazzy at the Mavin Studios Headquarters and that’s how a remix to the popular record was birth.
