
Shadi Alfons is an Egyptian actor, writer, and producer known for his role in Bassem Youssef's political satire show 'Al Bernameg', which became the highest-rated television program in the MENA region, reaching over 30 million viewers weekly before being banned in 2014. He was also a founding member of 'SNL Arabia', serving as a senior writer and parody news anchor until its ban in 2018. Alfons had a leading role in the acclaimed series 'Fawq El Sahab' and appeared in the Netflix documentaries 'Tickling Giants' and 'Die Laughing'. Currently, he stars as 'Shadi' in the HULU series 'RAMY' and has co-produced feature films such as 'From A to B' and 'Rashid and Rajab'. Beyond acting, he works as a voice-over artist and music producer.
