Sam Dedetoku

Samuel Dedetoku, known as Sam Dede, is a Nigerian veteran actor, director, politician, and lecturer, born on November 17, 1965, in Lagos. He studied Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt, where he earned both Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Dede entered the Nollywood film industry in 1995 and gained fame through films such as Igodo and Issakaba. With over 20 years of experience, he also serves as a senior lecturer at his alma mater and was appointed Director-General of Rivers State Tourism Development Agency in 2012. He is married to Tammy Sam-Dede and they have four children.
