Widgunz, whose real name is Salim Maguiraga, is an Ivorian rapper-songwriter born on August 28, 1999 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He discovered his passion for music at a very young age and wrote his first lyrics at 9 years old. In 2012, thanks to his numerous collaborations with Kiff No Beat, he began to be affiliated with the Ivorian group and the Treize collective. In summer 2017, he released his first single "Monnaie" with Didi B. The success of Monnaie led him to be considered one of the most promising young rappers in the sub-region. That same year, he met Koffi Masta during his stay in the United States. After working on several joint projects, they decided to create the independent label L’ORGANISATION. In December 2017, Wingunz released his first mixtape "Entre parenthèses", officially produced under the Label. One month after the release of his mixtape, he began recording his new projects. His first album NON was released in 2018, driven by the hits "Shallowford Road" and "Shekina". The combination of the album and the Mixtape propelled him to the status of local star. He also became the first independent Ivorian rapper to organize 2 successful concerts (with more than 500 people) in the city of Abidjan. In 2019, he returned with a second album "CORRECT", stopped his studies and decided to devote himself entirely to his Musical career.
