Ryle De Morny, a South African actor, TV presenter, athlete, model, and entrepreneur, is best known for his role as Chad Morgan in Netflix's "Blood & Water." Born in Cape Town, he gained fame as a lifeguard at 81. De Morny won the Presenter Search on SABC3 in 2018 and made his professional acting debut in "Blood & Water". He is a world Beach Sprinting champion and owns a fitness guru company.

Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe facing Egypt ban
The Egyptian Musicians Syndicate, headed by Mostafa Kamel, issued an order on Tuesday to ban Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe from performing in Egypt. This decision was made based on a complaint filed by syndicate member Khaled Mostafa Hassanein, also known as Khaled al-Tohamy, who previously worked as her business manager. The memorandum submitted to the head of the Syndicate and members of the Board of Directors detailed the complaint and the measures taken. Wehbe was summoned for investigation on two occasions, but failed to appear.

Jetu complains to Cosomaover commercial song use
According to the letter we have seen, Jetu has asked Cosoma to intervene to ensure that MultiChoice Africa is held accountable for the unauthorised use of her song, establish the extent of the infringement and financial gains accrued from the commercial. “DStv Africa, through MultiChoice, has benefitted commercially from the use of Chakwaza without any lincensing arrangement, royalties or financial compensation to the rightful owner. This is not only unlawful, but also unethical as it disregards the economic and moral rights of the Malawian musicians,” reads the letter in part. It says should Cosoma fail to take the necessary steps to address the issue, Jetu’s management will take legal action against MultiChoice Africa to seek appropriate compensation and damages for the infringement of her intellectual property.
