Panduleni Gideon

Ms Gideon, born Panduleni Gideon, is one of Namibia’s musical talents. She first gained attention as a young singer performing in school and on social media long before signing a major deal. Known for her soulful voice and her ability to blend genres like soul, Afrobeat, R&B and African musical influences, her music often carries messages of empowerment — especially for young African girls and women. Her breakthrough came through her original singles and dynamic online presence, where fans connected to her authentic storytelling. She shot to wider regional awareness by winning the Next Narrative Africa talent competition, which earned her a performance on New York’s historic Apollo Theater stage — a rare moment for artists from Namibia. In early 2026, she signed a record deal with Sony Music Africa, becoming the first Namibian artist to be signed directly to the global roster of that major label, an important milestone for her country’s music industry.
