Ayra Starr is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Born in Cotonou, Benin, she is of Yoruba ethnicity and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Political Science from Les Cours Sonou University. Starr started her music career at 16 with Quove Model Management, releasing her debut EP "Away" in early 2021, followed by her debut studio album, "19 & Dangerous," in 2021. Her sophomore album, "The Year I Turned 21," marked a significant musical evolution.

    Seyi Vibez, Reminisce dazzle 20,000 fans in sold out Mainland Block Party

    It was an electrifying night at the mainland block party on January 1st, 2024 as 20,000 fans trooped in to watch their favourite artist perform. One of Nigeria's foremost live music events, The Mainland Block Party kicked off its 2025 edition with a sold-out concert in Lagos. The party tagged Street Credibility took place in Ikeja and attracted over 20,000 fans who came out to kick off the year with energetic music and vibrant performances from some of Afrobeats' most popular artists.The party was headlined by multi-award-winning rapper and hitmaker Reminisce who dazzled fans with a collection of his smash hit records that has defined his nearly two decades run as a force in Nigerian hip hop.
