Nadia Nakai, born on the 18th of May, 1990 is a familiar face in the entertainment industry of South Africa as a musician and television actor. She rose to fame after winning the Mixtape 101 contest on the ETV show Shiz Niz. In 2013, she released her first single “Like Me” which became popular when she later appeared on the remix of Riky Rick’s “Amantombazane” in 2014. “Nadia Naked” was her first album released in 2019 which proved to the world her creativity and strength in the music industry.

    Amaarae to Perform at Governors Ball Music Festival 2025

    Globally celebrated Ghanaian pop star Amaarae has been announced as a performer at the 2025 Governors Ball Music Festival. Scheduled to take place from June 6 to 8 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York City, the event promises a star-studded lineup, including Tyler the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, Tyla, Raye and Hozier. Governors Ball, marking its 15th anniversary, returns to Flushing Meadows for the third consecutive year.
