Monica Ogah

Monica Ogah developed an interest in music while growing up in a family where singing played an important role. Her mother, a church choir director, helped nurture her passion for singing. Before becoming widely known, Monica performed in church and worked as a backing vocalist.

Her breakthrough came in December 2011 when she won the fourth edition of MTN Project Fame West Africa. The victory helped launch her professional career and led to a recording deal. In August 2013, she released her debut album, Sometime in August, featuring collaborations with artists including Chidinma and Wizboyy.

Over the years, Monica has explored both mainstream Nigerian music and gospel, releasing inspirational songs that reflect her faith and personal experiences. Her music includes soulful melodies, contemporary African rhythms and uplifting messages.
