Kareh B

Kareh B has an interesting background because she did not originally grow up speaking Kikuyu fluently. She explained that she learned the language as an adult by listening to vernacular radio, attending Kikuyu church services and asking friends to help her with grammar and pronunciation. She eventually became able to perform and connect with audiences in the language.
