Mamarie Njie

Mary Njie is a prominent US-born Gambian singer, songwriter, and rising actress who has become a powerful voice in the contemporary West African entertainment landscape. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, she deeply connects her artistry to her Gambian heritage, seamlessly blending traditional Afro-pulsed rhythms with modern R&B, Afrobeats, and pop influences.

While widely celebrated for her vibrant music career—delivering soulful vocals and visually stunning music videos that capture millions of views—she has successfully transitioned her creative talents into the world of television and cinema. Njie gained notable acting recognition through her guest appearance in the critically acclaimed, widely popular Senegalese drama series Maîtresse d'un homme marié. Her involvement in the hit show expanded her regional footprint, solidifying her status as a versatile, cross-industry entertainer.

As a dual-threat artist, Mary Njie continues to bridge the cultural gap between the African diaspora and the continent. Her growing portfolio reflects a dedication to authentic storytelling, making her one of the most compelling young Gambian figures to watch in both international music and African television.
