Maii Waleed

Maii Waleed, born in Alexandria in 1988, is an artist with a vibrant background in music, dance, and drama. She played drums in the all-girl metal band Mascara and performed with the electro-rock band Telepoetic. Her debut album, Moga, was released in May 2013, and she has collaborated with various artists, including the Jordanian trio Zaed Naes and Lebanese producer Zeid Hamdan. After forming a successful electronic pop band, Ritza, in Cairo, Maii ventured into alternative medicine, which has influenced her artistic journey. She is now focused on creating new music that reflects her authentic storytelling.
