Dicla Burity encourages self-love and empowerment in a message to her daughter

Angolan actress and presenter Dicla Burity shared this Thursday, March 20, a powerful reflection on self-love and acceptance, highlighting the importance of teaching her daughter, Naya, to value her identity. In a post made on her Instagram profile, Dicla, who appears with her daughter in her arms, emphasized that although building self-love is still a challenge for many people, representation has played a fundamental role in this process. “Teaching Baby Naya to love herself just as she is. With her dark skin, her curly hair and all the characteristic features of her history and ancestry. Fortunately, we have more and more references and representation,” said the actress. The presenter also encouraged women to embrace their natural beauty and pass this message on to future generations. “Let your hair down, women. Let your daughters, nieces and sisters see exactly what they look like and be proud of their roots,” she declared.
