Ladun Awobokun is a prominent Nigerian media executive currently serving as the Chief Content Officer at FilmOne Limited, a key player in film production and distribution in Nigeria. Previously, she held the position of General Manager, where she successfully secured exclusive distribution rights for major Hollywood studios like Sony Pictures and Walt Disney in Anglophone West Africa. With over 14 years of diverse experience in finance, marketing, and film, she has been pivotal in distributing blockbuster Nollywood films, including 'A Tribe Called Judah', 'Wakanda Forever', 'Ajosepo', and 'King of Thieves', with Filmone responsible for 90% of the top-grossing titles in the sector. Awobokun holds an MSc in Information Systems & Business Analysis from Aston University and a BSc in Accounting from Babcock University. In her current role, she oversees the creative direction, operations, and content strategy for both Filmone Entertainment and Filmone Studios.
