DJ Aka-m

Kengo Monteiro Coxe, professionally known as DJ Aka-m, was born on May 21, 1992, in Luanda, Angola, in the municipality of Kilamba Kiaxi.

From an early age, he developed a strong passion for music, especially when his older brother began taking him to music studios. One day, his brother gave him a computer, and he began learning music production independently, with the support and encouragement of his siblings and parents. His first major success was a song titled “BAYÉ,” which gained recognition both locally and internationally.

Today, DJ Aka-m is the CEO and producer of the record label Quentasso Music, where he has produced numerous successful songs for artists such as Noite & Dia, DJ Malvado, Cleyton M, Kukupela, Weezy Baby Coxe, Scro Q Cuya, John Trouble, Ingomblock, and many others.

DJ Aka-m is regarded as one of the current producers contributing to the Afro House and Kuduro scenes in Angola. Many of his productions have won various music competitions in Angola, further establishing his reputation as a prominent producer in the country's music industry.
