Nollywood Mourns as Veteran Director Rotimi Raji Passes Away, Found Dead in Bathroom

The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning following the tragic death of veteran director Rotimi Raji, popularly known as Genius. Reports indicate that Raji was found lifeless in his bathroom on February 15, just a day after Valentine’s Day. The filmmaker, who lived alone in Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos, reportedly slumped and passed away. His death was noticed after a concerned neighbor, alarmed by his unusual silence, repeatedly called out to him. Upon peering through an open window, the neighbor saw his motionless body on the bathroom floor. Authorities and family members were alerted, his door was forced open, and his remains were taken to the mortuary. His grieving relatives are now demanding a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of his sudden death.
