Kamal Lazrak Movie Director

Kamal Lazraq, a Moroccan film director and screenwriter, born in 1984 in Casablanca, he studied political science in Paris and researched political violence in Morocco. He entered La fémis in 2007, in the film directing department. Drari is his graduation film. His graduation film, Drari, is his debut feature film, Les Meutes (The Hounds), which has gained international acclaim for its raw portrayal of life in Casablanca and its authentic depiction of Moroccan society.
