Put people like me on TGMA stage; not “jump and go” artistes – Article Wan

Ghanaian artiste Article Wan has pleaded with the organisers of Telecel Ghana Music Awards to consider billing him to perform at their award ceremonies. In a post he made on Facebook, the ‘That Thing’ hit maker suggested to the organisers, Charterhouse, to pay attention to the quality of artistes they put on stage. “Kudos to TGMA for your remarkable work over the years! As you plan ahead, I humbly suggest curating a lineup of talents like myself and others who deliver truly memorable performances, not just “jump and go” acts,” he wrote. He also touched on the issue of having more vibrant supporters seated in front so they could cheer performers on while they are on stage. “Having energetic supporters upfront could also help hype the event and keep the vibe alive. My little contribution with respect,” he add.
