VanJess

VanJess was a Nigerian-American R&B duo consisting of sisters Ivana and Jessica Nwokike, who began their career on YouTube with cover songs. Achieving viral success with their rendition of Drake's "Headlines," they pursued a music career, signing with RCA's Keep Cool in 2018. They released one studio album, Silk Canvas, and one EP, Homegrown. The sisters are first-generation Nigerian immigrants and attended a performing arts school. Influences include Michael and Janet Jackson, among others. In 2023, Ivana stepped away from the duo, while Jessica plans to continue solo music. Ivana later formed threetwenty with her husband, releasing their debut album in 2025.
