Innocent Ujah Idibia MON, known by his stage name 2Baba and formerly as 2Face Idibia, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, record producer and philanthropist known for his solo debut album, Face 2 Face. He is regarded as one of the "most influential" and greatest Afrobeats artists of all time following his contributions to Nigerian pop music in the 2000s. 2Baba won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act in 2005. In 2019, he collaborated with Cobhams Asuquo and Timi Dakolo to release a song raising awareness for children's rights.

The Ben and Diamond Platnumz Set to Drop New Hit This Summer

Rwandan singer The Ben has confirmed that he has completed recording a second collaboration with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz. Speaking to the media upon his arrival at Kigali International Airport, The Ben revealed that the highly anticipated song is set for release this summer. The Ben had traveled to Zanzibar, Tanzania, to attend the Trace Awards, an event that brought together thousands of music fans and top African artists. He disclosed that during his stay in Tanzania in late February 2025, he and Diamond finalized the audio recording of their new song. “We are planning to release it in the summer,” The Ben stated. “We haven’t shot the video yet, but no matter what, we will release them together.” His announcement has sparked excitement among fans, especially following the massive success of their first collaboration, Why, which has amassed over 24 million views since its release on January 4, 2022.
