Helen Paul

Comedian

Helen Paul is a Nigerian comedian, singer, actress, and stand-up comedian known as "Tatafo" for her childlike voice. She holds a doctorate in Theater Arts from the University of Lagos. Helen has worked as a presenter for Lagos Television, Continental Broadcasting Service, and M-Net’s Africa Magic, where she co-hosts JARA. She gained fame on Radio Continental’s Wetin Dey as Tatafo, using satire to discuss social issues. In 2012, she released her Afro-Pop album "Welcome Party" and singles like "Take It Back" and "Never Knew." She owns Massive Fabrics and Bridals boutique and founded the Helen Paul Theater and Film Academy. Married to Femi Bamisile, with two sons, she moved to the U.S. in 2021 and became Head of Arts, Music, and Entertainment at Heart International University in 2022. Her film credits include "The Return of Jenifa" and "Alakada2."
