She began her acting career in 1997 with the television series Eagle of the East: ('Hawk of the East', Egypt). In 1999, she featured in the series The Other Man, which was a huge success and helped her establish a career in film. In 2005, she decided to retire from acting in order to concentrate on her personal life while adopting a religious life.
