Gugu Gumede is a South African actress known for her role as Mamlambo in the popular TV soapie Uzalo. Born to politician Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi, she studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Gugu made her television debut in 2013 as Mandisa in Generations and gained widespread recognition for her role as Mamlambo in Uzalo, one of South Africa's most watched shows. She has also appeared in other TV shows and films.
