Genoveva Kenechukwu Umeh, born on May 8, 1995, is a Nigerian actress who gained recognition for her performances in various series and films. She won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards for her role in the Prime Video Original, Breath of Life, and was previously nominated for Best Actress in a drama at the 2022 awards for A Tune Away. Umeh, who has also appeared in Netflix originals like Blood Sisters and Far From Home, began her acting career after moving to Lagos in 2018. Born in Enugu, Nigeria, she was raised in the UK, where she studied law at the University of Surrey. Umeh has participated in notable stage performances, including a one-woman play and various productions aimed at addressing social issues. She has quickly established herself in the Nigerian film industry with her recognized talents and performances.
