Gospel Musicians Performing at Secular Events: 'Everybody has their assignments' - Diana Hamilton

Ghanaian gospel sensation, Diana Hamilton, has weighed in on the ongoing debate about gospel musicians performing at secular events. Speaking in an interview with Hitz FM, Hamilton emphasised that the primary focus should be on the message being delivered, rather than the venue. "Jesus came not for the saved, but for the lost. When He sends you, He equips you for where and to whom He's sending you. Everyone has their assignment. Somebody's assignment is to reach the elite who don't believe in God. They think they have it all, and so they need to be approached in a way that resonates with them," Hamilton stated. Hamilton's comments come in response to criticism faced by gospel artiste, Broda Sammy, who has been performing at secular events as part of his outreach to non-religious audiences.
