Dr. Chinonso Egemba, known as Aproko Doctor, is a Nigerian medical doctor and health advocate who has transformed health information dissemination in Africa. After earning his degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and beginning his practice in 2016, he focused on preventative education. His engaging "Aproko" persona uses humor and Pidgin English to simplify medical concepts. A personal health challenge arose in late 2022 when he battled a brain tumor, which he used to promote early diagnosis and empathetic care. As of 2026, he has expanded his influence beyond social media, founding The 100K Club for medical emergencies and launching the lifestyle brand Healthy Threads, while also acting in advocacy films like Strain and producing short films such as Stitches.
