He made his acting debut in 2011 as a debate moderator on Tinsel. He appeared on Life 101 in 2016 and has appeared in TV series, movies, and TV series. He earned his first Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Award (AMVCA) nomination for his performance in Seven. Iwara's career has been characterized by his musical talent and his range of roles.
