
Eder Dos Santos, born in the Cape Verdean island of Sal, would later be known by his stage name Dynamo. He is one of the most important references of the new generation of musicians in Cape Verde and the scattered Portuguese speaking African communities around the world. At the age of 12, Dynamo started playing and singing songs of his own making at school parties and around the neighborhood. Always with his guitar in his hands, he began to conquer his audience in his native land. Several years later, Dynamo is a reference in classic and contemporary afropop, kizomba and its fusions. This was disclosed in a statement signed by Bolaji Ajayi, a publicist, on Saturday in Lagos. The collaborative track, which blends soulful vocals with contemporary Afro-pop elements, serves as part of the official soundtrack for the film and explores themes of devotion, sacrifice and emotional connection.
